To the family navigating the season of independent preteens and teens

To the family who is busy and still manages to carve out time to be together

To the family who wants to grab these moments and hang on just a little longer

I See You!

Alabama's Best Family Photographer

Dorthea Lange said  “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still”.

We live in such a fast paced society, and I believe that it wears on our households at times.  I specialize in giving families a few minutes together, without distractions and filled with some much needed smiles and laughter.  Then I help you fill your home with the memories we have created!

The thought of you walking down your hall or passing the table in your foyer and stopping for a few seconds to smile at the sweet memories we’ve capture, knowing that your children get to see who they belong to and how much you love them when they look at the photo’s on your mantle, and understanding that your grandkids will see the roots of their family tree every time they open up your photo album… That’s everything to me!

My photography journey started young — when I was 4 years old, to be exact. My first “models” were my dolls and stuffed animals, and my tool of choice was a Polaroid. In school, I was rarely without a camera in my hand. But it wasn’t until my daughter was born that I considered turning my passion into a career.

After taking a course at The Birmingham School of Photography and attending countless online classes and workshops through ClickCommunity (formerly ClickinMoms), I officially launched my business. Ten years later, I still love capturing precious moments just as much as I did back then.

I’d love to get to know you and help capture the moments that matter most!

The little details:

I’m a Birmingham, Alabama native, and I truly believe it’s one of the most beautiful and friendliest places in the world.

I run on coffee — about six cups every morning, to be exact.

I’m an avid reader who loves almost any genre (except romance and horror). A few of my all-time favorites are A Gentleman in Moscow, What Alice Forgot, and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.

I LOVE CHARCUTERIE BOARDS. Holidays aren’t complete without my own personal board that I don’t have to share (and I’m actually not kidding… I don’t share it).

Summer is my season. Give me heat and sunshine, and I’m happy.

Yard work is my favorite. I can spend hours mowing, trimming, and digging in the garden — and it never gets old.

Even though I’m terrified of heights, I push myself to go indoor climbing a few times a year. I just can’t let fear win.
