One on One Time with Mom - Birmingham Photo Session

From the moment this lovely young woman reached out to me, I could tell how deeply she cherished her mom. Her very first message said it all:

"My mom is coming from out of town on short notice for two days... I know it’s a long shot, but we live 600 miles apart, and I’d really love a photo session together."

As soon as I read her message, my answer was a resounding “Yes!” I completely understood the importance of capturing their time together, especially with such distance between them. These precious moments were a priority, and I was thrilled to help.

We quickly scheduled the session and chose the stunning Ross Bridge Trail in Hoover as the perfect backdrop.

When I met these two, I was immediately taken by their beauty, style, and warm energy. Photographing them was a joy from start to finish. The session was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversation, and those little moments of connection that made my heart smile.

And as if the day couldn’t be any sweeter, we were lucky enough to witness a surprise proposal happening nearby—an unexpected treat that left all three of us swooning!

After the session, they planned to continue their weekend together with a meal at the daughter’s favorite local restaurant, making even more memories to cherish.

I’m so grateful I could capture these images for them. Now, when they’re missing each other across the miles, they’ll have these photos to remind them of this special weekend and the love they share.

There’s truly no time like the present to celebrate the connections that mean the most to you. Let’s make it happen!
