One Year Milestone and Family Session in Birmingham, Alabama

This shoot was a hard one for me… but not for reasons you may think…

The little cutie - well wait a minute - they are all CUTE (and SWEET)! Ok, so the “littlest” cutie is celebrating her one year birthday!

Her mom wanted to make sure that we captured all of her milestone this year. That means I saw this family 5 times (newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and one year). This was our final session, and I think we were all a little sad.

I started shooting this family about 4 years ago when the middle one was about a year. I know these girls different personalities and have had the honor of watching them grow over the years.

At each one of our sessions this year we spent time playing, cuddling, loving and laughing. I get the biggest smile when I see the sweet looks that I captured on these precious faces!

My favorite part of all, however, was watching the middle fill the shoes big sister. She has learned from the best and become a caring girl who loves doting on her little sister!
