Photo Session with Teens and Parents Birmingham, Alabama

I had the most fun with this family! This beautiful mom contacted me to have her family photography session because it had been a couple of years since she had captured her family. She said that it was so hard to find time in their busy schedule but she knew she needed to document this stage and age in her kids lives.

We spent about an hour in the most beautiful field in Hoover, Alabama right at sunset.

These four had so much fun just being together without any distractions from the outside world. Before we knew it they were all falling over laughing.

This is one of my favorite memories captured this year! I just love the way this sister is looking at her big brother. This is one of those moments that I think he will look at years from now and really see how much his sister adored him.

One of my priorities when I am shooting a family photography session is the parents. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard “we haven’t had photos of just the two of us since our wedding day.

The parent images are also one of my must have prints. It is so important for our kids to see the love that we have for each other! What a wonderful way for them to be reminded as they walk by these photos daily.

I always enjoy the parent and child time as well. I am often reminded that sometimes we just need a moment to laugh together!

It’s easy to remember to capture those early years. Before you know it, years have gone by and you haven’t had a family photo session. My favorite sessions are the ones with Parents and Teens or Preteens.
